–  Lewis Carroll

Adam and the Orb of Aetherium

Adam doesn’t have friends, he has magic.

Desperate to join their centuries old, family magician trade, Dad has dismissed him for the very last time. To prove himself, Adam takes Dad’s magician marbles right before his disappearing act… but Dad doesn’t return.

Adam has unknowingly trapped Dad on another planet.

Now Adam must sneak into Dad's secret magic office, find clues, and decipher an ancient scroll in order to bring him home. What he doesn't expect is to make unexpected friends along the way - like the school bully who's been harbouring his secret love of interdimensional travel all along.

Together, the friends have to find, and fix the portal to bring Dad home... But it’ll only open on a rare, full planetary alignment… in a few days.

Adam has to trust himself, and his new friends to save his Dad.

But what they uncover in the process will change their lives, forever.

A Middle Grade Novel for confident readers.

Shocking Shelly

Shelly is the leader of her group - the one her friends come to when they need support and guidance. But when Shelly sees them huddled and whispering without her, her whole world falls apart. She automatically looks for the fault in herself.

Stef is Shelly's best friend - she's organising a birthday surprise for Shelly. She didn't intend on upsetting Shelly in the process.

The group of friends decide to tell Shelly a little white lie, asking for her help to plan a party for Drew.

Shelly is relived to be included again, but on edge - she still doesn't know what she did wrong.

When the celebrations begin and they surround Shelly to sing the happy birthday song, she realises they've been planning a surprise for her, and have loved her, all along.

An emotional roller coaster showing how even the purest of intentions can still hurt others. And our internal narrative can easily take us to negative places.

There are two sides to every story.

Flump's First Flight

It's finally the day for Ash's family to go on their first flying holiday. But within the excitement, Ash notices Flump - their floppy bunny - is feeling a range of other, unexpected emotions too.

To help ease Flump's nerves, Ash guides Flump through every part of their journey, explaining where loud noises are coming from and what to expect - especially the scary bits.

Or perhaps it's Ash who's a bit nervous, and by helping Flump they are self soothing.

Together, Flump and Ash make it all the way to their destination - the bravest of jet setters, ready to explore.

With real aviation facts and a few laughs thrown in, this book is great for children who like to have a plan, and need a bit of reassurance, particularly around flying.

A fantastic book to use as a social story.

Peek-A-Boo!

We all know how to play Peek-A-Boo but have you ever played it like this before?
Watch out readers everywhere, for in this version, you have to do exactly what the book tells you!

Adults pulling silly faces? What child doesn’t want to see that!
Just try to get to the end without laughing, it’s simply not possible! A great way to get kids engaged and enjoy reading.
If you don't want to make a fool of yourself don't buy this book - it’s unavoidable!

You will love it, or love to hate it, as your children will want you to read it over and over again!

Flutterby, Butterfly.

A more serious book for the collection, Flutterby, Butterfly takes us on the journey of a premature baby who survives just 2 weeks; a lifetime.
This is a soft and sweet read to help children understand what might have happened with a little brother or sister who was too early and too precious to stay on earth.

It is slightly abstract and can be adapted to anyone’s belief system, making this a great book for any family, anywhere.
A percentage of the proceeds from this book will be donated to the Ronald McDonald house - an organisation that does such a great job in supporting families through such difficult times.
